The All Progressive Congress (APC) Candidate, Lagos State House of Assembly, Ojo Constituency 01, Comrade Olusegun Adebisi Ege was lauded while honouring the invitation of Lagos State University Staff School, at the 31st Graduation Ceremony/Prize – Giving Day themed: ” *Internet Safety and the 21st Century Children”* which held at Lagos State University, Ojo on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
The accolade was showered on the seasoned politician by Head Teacher, LASU Staff School, Dr Adeola Aribike while addressing the guests and students. She described Comrade Ege Adebisi as a man with Integrity, who is also humble and equipped with the features of a perfect gentle man that keeps to his words.
She reiterated the need for Comrade Ege to keep putting the interest of the people first as he has been doing.
She said: ” I know you are a man of integrity and you will always keep to your words. The people are hungry, I will advise you to represent them well and try as much as you can to make positive impact in LASU staff school and to Ojo Constituency that your will be representing”
She highlighted the school achievements in the last one year and concluded with a request of a School Bus from Comrade Ege.
Comrade Olusegun Adebisi Ege, in his speech to the graduating students, implored them to be obedient to their parents and teachers.
He further advised them to be careful when they get to Secondary School while citing the various categories of students they are likely to meet in school:.
In his words: ” There are the ones that are beyond parental control, also the set of students that are in need of proper parental care, the ones without proper shelters and the ones that conflict the law”.
However, He commended the school management and staff for having tried their best in preparing the students ( graduating students) for the future.
He said: “The management and staff have given the best they could to make you better persons in future. It is left to you all to give back to the school and nation as a whole.”
Comrade Ege also challenged the parents, on the need to guide their children right and always keep to their promises whenever they promise them.
Comrade Ege in his remarks also appreciated Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, in absentia, as well as Dr. Adeola Aribike(Head Teacher), teachers, parents, students and others.
Comrade Ege Adebisi Olusegun presented the award of Best Teacher of the year and Best students writer of the year 2022 and inspected the exhibitions projected by the students.
