ACCREDITATION: INSURANCE, PSYCHOLOGY, PUBLIC ADMIN, MSC INSURANCE TEAMS MAKE ENTRY, AS AGRIC, MARKETING, HISTORY & INT’L STUDIES AND FRENCH TEAMS EXIT

Three National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation teams on Insurance, Psychology, Public Administration, and Msc Insurance programmes, on Wednesday, 15th November 2023 arrived at the university’s main campus, Ojo to commence the assessment of the programmes. They were received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, and other members of management at the Senate Chamber, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, main campus, Ojo.

Having welcomed the teams, the Vice Chancellor, in two different meetings, handed them over to the respective deans of faculties and heads of concerned departments with the directive to provide all that the teams needed to do their work. The dean of Postgraduate School, Prof. Ibrahim Olateju, the dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Olufemi Lawal, and acting dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Banji Fajonyomi received the four teams on behalf of their faculties.

Just as the four teams were making their entry, four other NUC teams were making their exit, having concluded their assignments at the university. They were the Agriculture team led by Prof. Ishaku Amapu, the Marketing team led by Prof. Tomola Marshal Obamuyi, the History and International Studies team led by Prof. Zakariya Goshit, and the French team led by Prof. Ukeje Fidelma.

The exit meetings took place at the Vice Chancellor’s Conference Room and were attended by other members of management and deans of the concerned faculties- Prof. O.T.F Abanikanda (Agric), Prof. Banji Fajonyomi (Marketing), and Prof. T.M Salisu (French and History & International Studies) as well the HoDs in the departments.
