Adam Silver in support of reducing age limit for CBA

The NBA Commissioner “Adam Silver” speaks on reducing the age for the next CBA (collective bargaining agreement). In his words, Adam Sliver said it was “the right thing to do”. He went on to say “I think there’s a chance to change it.

Its based on lager conversation than just whether we go from 19 to 18 but I’m in record.when I balanced all of these various,I think that it will be the right thing to do and I’m hopeful that that’s a change we make in the next collective bargaining cycle, which will happen in the next couple years.”

According to soild sources this won’t be the first time the topic has come up in the board but it has never really being finalized. We sure hope they would be able to finalize their decision this time.

Words from Adam silver says the topic is however going to be on the table this time around in the upcoming CBA meeting. But without leading us on, he made it clear that the discussion is still at it’s “early stages” which means nothing is assured. The panels are still in power to opt out of the topic.

Silver did admit that he was part of the committee who increased the age to 20 in the first place. But due to the developments that have being going on globally and how upcoming NBA candidates have begun to improve massively even before they get picked into the NBA official.

Adam Sliver has come with a proposal to reduce the age in order to empower the young youths,at least this is something he could do to make up for past times I guess.
