‘You’re on your own’: African students stuck in Ukraine seek refuge or escape route
Some students rushed to Kyiv’s train station on Friday morning in the hope of boarding a train to the western city of Lviv. From there, they aim to go over the border into Poland from where they can return home. A spot on board the train is not guaranteed.
