In response to the escalating insecurity across the nation, the Nigerian Senate has taken decisive action by suspending its plenary sessions. This move comes as a pivotal step towards addressing the pressing issues of security that have gripped the nation in recent times.

The suspension of plenary sessions aims to create an opportunity for high-level discussions with key government officials. Among those summoned to address the Senate are the Minister for Finance, the Minister for Defence, the National Security Adviser, and the Service Chiefs.
