For a while now The Lakers have been negotiating with the Nets for a kyrie Irving trade. While there is still a possibility, it’s not looking like it’s happening soon. So The Lakers are setting their sights on an alternative.

ESPN reported that The Lakers were in talks with The pacers for Buddy Hield last month but no agreement was reached.

Well it seems talks have been reopened. According to ESPN’s Mcmenamin

“One of the things that has come to me in the last few days is that the Lakers and Pacers have resumed negotiations for Buddy Hield.”

Right now, it is unsure which players would be involved in the Hield trade but Westbrook could be affected.

Buddy Hield who is a sharp 3 shooter averaged 18.2 points per game last season. And if you’ve ever played against his team on 2k, you’ll know he’s a great addition to any roster.
