It is undoubtedly a moment when a person’s desire is to rank among the greatest soccer players ever. Ultimately, Lionel Messi, who was rewarded for his heroics with Argentina during the World Cup, took home Ballon d’Or number eight.
On his X page, Frank Khalid writes, “It is such a shame that no African representative voted for Victor Osimhen for the Balon d’Or.” When I say NONE, I mean none of them, even Nigeria’s.

Victor Osimhen, who was ranked as the eighth (8) greatest player in the world in the worldwide event hosted in France, was declared the eighth-best player by the event organizers because he received a lot of support from other continents.
As per the information provided by the organizers, Osimhen, the Nigerian striker for Napoli, did not receive a single vote from any journalist or African representative.
