Peter Obi

The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has reiterated his pledge to move Nigeria from consumption nation to production nation if elected president in 2023.

Peter Obi made the disclosure at the 10th memorial address for Comrade Pascal Bafyau held at the Labour House Auditorium, Abuja.

He stated that no credible president can emerge without listening to the workers to understand their plight and know the direction to drive the economy forward.

He also noted that the country is suffering from bad leadership, stating that the economy of a nation cannot thrive under leaders that take loan to share rather than production.

The president of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ayuba Wabba recounts the huge milestones left behind by Comrade Pascal Bafhau, saying that the depth of the commitment of his to the Labour movement is evident to the benefits Nigeria working people are enjoying today.

He however, urged Nigerian workers to endeavor to get their PVC’S and come out in their numbers to support candidate that understands the condition of the people in the country.
