Kevin Durant has been in the face of major criticism recently especially because of his trade request. Spyconnect reported that commisioner, Adams silver was not happy with his decision.
In April, 2022 analyst Charles Barkely came at Kevin Durant for calling himself a champion while not being able to lead OKC to victory. He furthered that Durant could only win a ring with a “Super team” warriors.
“Let me tell you something. I don’t want to bad-mouth the dude, but all these bus riders, they don’t mean nothing to me.”
“If you ain’t driving the bus, don’t walk around talking about you being a champion.” Barkely said.
Recently, Kevin Durant in his podcast came back to address that comment.
Bus riders, bus drivers, like what does that even mean?” He said.
“That’s a bunch of s**t you just make up.
“Like I ain’t did s**t before I went to Golden State. I had shoes, I had MVPs before I met these guys.”
Y’all just be hating on the god. Then you say I won’t get respect from the legends, like who?
“Cause every time I run into a legend I get nothing but love. Go do your research fam.”
