In the last season, Man united has lost a couple of talents. Top of this list are players like Edison Cavani, Nemaja Matic and of course Paul Pogba. But one person that has Managed to stick to United like glue is… Harry Maguire.
Yes your one and only Harry Maguire is back as the captain of the united squad. Despite the terrible season he had, the current man united boss seems to still have confidence in him.
In a press conference during the man united preseason tour in Thailand, Ten Hag is quoted to say.
“I have to get to know all the players, but he’s an established captain and he’s achieved a lot of success.”
Maguire who lost his place under former boss is now assured of a place in the united squad although Ten hag has stated his intention of getting another man in the defence to build it.
As much as it may hurt many United fans, Harry Maguire looks like he’s here to stay. We can only wish him luck in his future endeavours with the club.

Wait before we go, Ten Hag has confirmed that Ronaldo is in his plans for the coming season. This means Ronaldo will not be leaving united this season. He said “I didn’t speak to him (Ronaldo) after the revelation that he wants to leave united.”
Manchester united fans meet this news with mixed feelings as some do not think ronaldo fits into the squad while others are excited about ronaldo’s stay in the club.
