As the 2023 election approaches, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has banned politicians from voting in mosques and churches.

Hanin is part of INEC’s campaign rules on Thursday about how parties and politicians will handle election campaigns and how much money they can spend.

“There should not be election wars in places of worship, police offices and government offices,” said INEC.

Also, the record says “don’t use misleading words or hate speech during election campaigns”.

Additionally, “no man should carry a weapon to a camp meeting or a snitch”.
