Commends DHDEI Initiative for taking Up the Task as Scores of Students Benefit from Empowerment Program

In a bid to combat rising unemployment rates and empower youths with practical skills, Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative has embarked on a commendable initiative. Dr. Charles Adeniranye Ph.D, Lecturer of the English Department at Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, and Comrade Omosebi Oluwatobi, CEO of Insight Clothing & Former SUG President at Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, have praised the initiative’s impact.

With unemployment remaining a significant challenge in our society, the need for practical solutions has never been more urgent. Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative has taken up this challenge by offering vocational and technical training in various fields. Students are learning skills such as Barbing, Frame Marking, Tailoring, Hairdressing, Makeup, Graphic Design, Photography, Nail Artistry, and more.

The initiative provides a flexible learning schedule, accommodating students’ lecture-free hours and weekends. Courses range from three months to one year, ensuring participants gain comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in their chosen fields.

Dr. Charles Adeniranye and Comrade Omosebi Oluwatobi commend Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative for its proactive approach to addressing unemployment. They emphasize the importance of vocational and technical skills in equipping youths with the tools they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

The Federal Government, through initiatives like NYSC (S.A.E.D) and higher institutions’ Entrepreneurship Directorates, also recognizes the significance of vocational training in empowering the youth and driving economic growth.
